Societies, especially Africa, suffer from the scourge of civil wars and the effects they left behind, whether these wars are ethnic, ideological, or political. Infrastructure was destroyed, and cities lost their architectural texture, features, and historical identity, leaving nothing but rubble and destruction, and a society still suffering from the effects of civil war, as happened in Europe after World War II. Therefore, there must be major post-war goals, plans and strategies at the regional level for resettlement in war-torn countries to revive cities and their monuments, preserve their architectural texture and ancient character, return immigrants, and establish a normal life for the population so that the returnees feel a sense of belonging to the place.

 That is why the founding of the ADDF Foundation came from young men from the new African generation who learned under the rubble, destruction and refugee centres and lived with painful experiences and memories like a nightmare that prevented them from despair and surrender to the contribution of building and developing the new Africa.

Our vision.

A unified vision and strategy for the reconstruction of war-ravaged African countries. Providing research and scientific studies that help the institutions of these countries by creating an association that brings together all architects, urban planners, researchers, and intellectuals from Africa. The main pillar of this institution is scientific research and proposals for solutions to the problems that these countries suffer from. Scientific research is the only way that made Europe rise and develop.
